Halifax are part of the Bank of Scotland now and claim to be the UK's number one mortgage provider.

Information provided by the Halifax on the mortgage part of their website is quite limited and you may be better off working with an independent mortgage broker to start off with.

Like most mortgage companies, their deals are constantly changing and the fees they charge for new mortgages and to exit existing mortgages are changing too.
